Carbon Line Worker

*NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED*

Starting pay is $14.00 hr.

Position Summary

Carbon Block Technology (CB-Tech), a leading manufacturer of high-quality water filtration products, is seeking a Bilingual Carbon Line Worker (English/Spanish) to join our production team. This position plays a vital role in the manufacturing process by producing carbon block filters while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform production tasks involved in manufacturing carbon block filters.
  • Load mixed carbon materials into molds using semi-automated equipment or by hand.
  • Operate conveyor systems to move molds through the curing oven.
  • Operate automatic presses and manually load racks into manual presses as needed.
  • Remove finished carbon blocks from molds and place them on tables or carts for cutting.
  • Return empty molds to production racks after processing.
  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process and notify the supervisor of any product or process irregularities.
  • Communicate quality concerns promptly with the QA Supervisor.
  • Work cooperatively with Quality Assurance and other departments to resolve production issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, carbon dust, and elevated noise levels.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to changing production needs.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing facility where employees are regularly exposed to:
