Responsibilities
What you'll be able to do:
Product Line Program Manager - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the anticipated worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the anticipated worksite. Responsible for guiding the strategy, development, implementation, and optimization of data-centric products - both data products and software products (Platform Capabilities) - within the Data Product Engineering (DPE) organization. Responsible for adoption of enterprise-level data products and analytic data platforms and capabilities that empower data-driven decision making across the company. Collaborate with data scientists, portfolio and central data engineers, source data owners and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that the central data product and Data Platform capabilities meet both user needs and business objectives.
Qualifications
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or Data Analytics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Transforming raw data into actionable insights by performing basic data analysis, querying data with SQL, and building clear data visualizations. 2. Utilizing data-related technologies and tools including GCP Big Query, GitHub, or Google Cloud Console to build and maintain products and databases. 3. Utilizing project management tools (Jira, Rally, Excel, SharePoint, and Looker dashboards) and methodologies (Agile and Scrum) for applying project organization and task management, timelines, and resources. 4. Facilitating the product lifecycle, defining product requirements, by leveraging knowledge in product development processes including Requirement Gathering, Design creation, Development, Quality Testing, Deployment activities, and Monitoring. 5. Articulating complex information and insights across product teams, senior leadership, and diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and drive informed decision-making through proactive and tailored update using Jira and Looker dashboards. 6. Analyzing data by utilizing project management tools including Jira, Rally, SharePoint, Google Cloud Console and Looker dashboards. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Leveraging Jira for end-to-end project lifecycle management to monitor, adjust project timelines and roadmaps, and sprint boards to ensure on-time delivery.
