Production design internships are short-term, hands-on training opportunities where students or recent graduates assist professional production designers in the creation of visual elements for film, television, theater, or other media. Interns typically help with set construction, sourcing props, creating mood boards, and collaborating with directors and other departments to bring the creative vision to life. These internships offer practical experience, industry networking, and insight into the daily responsibilities of a production designer, making them valuable for those pursuing a career in art or design within the entertainment industry.

Interns often assist with research, material selection, and supporting the preparation of design presentations. You may also have hands-on tasks like helping with set construction or organizing the design workspace. This internship provides a great opportunity to learn industry-standard workflows and gain practical experience while contributing to real productions.
