Job Responsibilities & Requirements


A Brief Overview
Supports the production planning process by assisting with the coordination of customer orders, monitoring order progress, and maintaining accurate records within the production and inventory systems.
What You Will Do:
Responsibilities

  • Assist with updating and maintaining the production schedule under supervision.

  • Monitor sales orders and provide basic lead-time information using the ERP system.

  • Support the preparation of production schedules based on existing orders and customer priorities.

  • Participate in routine inventory tasks such as cycle counts.

  • Communicate order status and basic scheduling details with internal departments (e.g., manufacturing, customer service, logistics).

  • Help track inventory levels and incoming materials under guidance from senior staff.

  • Enter and review data to ensure order and inventory accuracy.

  • Perform basic analysis related to production timing and capacity under direction.


Qualifications

  • High School/GED required

  • Associates Related Field preferred

  • 1-2 Years of experience in a manufacturing or production control environment required

  • Basic understanding of ERP systems or willingness to learn required; experience using SAP a big plus

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills required

  • Equivalent combination of experience and/or education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis

  • Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

Physical Demands
This role is primarily performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. As part of the essential functions of this role, the individual will need to access a factory and be exposed to temperature changes. This may will result in being exposed to noise, vibration, chemicals/fumes and navigate around factory machines.
