Job description


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identifying and evaluating quality trends, defects, and process variations
  • Monitoring and reporting any non-conformities, abnormalities, or irregularities detected during inspections and tests
  • Ensuring all test results and findings are properly documented and controlled
  • Supporting the development and training of QC personnel to enhance inspection skills, knowledge of standards, and quality awareness
  • Initiating and supporting quality improvement activities and defect reduction programs to meet company quality targets
  • Contributing to cost reduction efforts through improved inspection efficiency, waste reduction, and prevention of rework or rejects
  • Demonstrating flexibility in handling various quality control tasks and responsibilities as required by the organization
  • Planning and conducting testing and evaluation of product quality during daily production processes
  • Developing and improving testing and evaluation systems for product quality within the production process
  • Regularly reviewing and ensuring compliance with testing standards, evaluation procedures, and work instructions
  • Coordinating and participating in root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and preventing non-conforming products
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of new products during initial production (after DR/technical meetings) and following up on product or process changes.
  • Reviewing and monitoring the calibration and verification of measuring instruments and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards (QC Tools, Equipment and machines).
  • Planning and reviewing staff work schedules and ensuring the quality of work across all shifts to support production requirements
  • Participating in meetings with technical departments to align on production and quality standards
  • Planning and monitoring team performance, providing counseling, and resolving team-related issues
  • Evaluating and developing the skills and capabilities of QC team members
  • Setting, tracking, and reviewing team performance goals and objectives
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 5 to 7 years in a quality related position within manufacturing environment
  • Previous Leadership & management of direct reports

  • Engineering background
  • ISO program
  • ISO auditing
  • Microsoft Project expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Power point
  • Presentation and good communication in English skill
