Job Summary:
The Production Control Manager is responsible for planning, coordination, and controlling the manufacturing processes. The Production Control Manager ensures that the correct amount of goods and services are produced timely, efficiently, at the right cost and quality level. The scope of the job includes but is not limited to; customer service, production coordination and shipment forecast and planning.
Duties/Responsibilities: (Essential functions)

  • Manage production planning and scheduling for on-time delivery.
  • Recommend process improvements for high quality, cost effectiveness, and excellent customer services.
  • Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise team members in their assigned job duties.
  • Organize job training for employees to achieve production objectives.
  • Ensure that the team follows security and safety policies.
  • Review the job orders with customers and production teams to determine pricing and schedules.
  • Monitor execution of job orders and adjust job schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate the status of job orders to customers on a regular basis.
  • Oversee the timely arrival of all raw materials.
  • Coordinate and manage the work-in-process and finish goods inventories through the system.
  • Maintain positive relationships between Customer Service, Production Departments, Sales, Suppliers, and... The Customer.
  • Work with the customer and joint continuous improvement efforts.
  • Initiate/lead projects that improve customer satisfaction and/or reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Advise and communicate with the Customer Service Manager on all customer-related issues.
  • Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals; Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers including Production Control and Review the performance of the team; Identify training needs; Implement Lean Manufacturing.
  • Monitor and Maintain Production Buffers.
