Position: Production Associate

Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary/Objective
The Production Associate is responsible for producing quality parts and materials while adhering to company policies, safety procedures, and customer specifications.

Essential Functions

  1. Follow all safety procedures, startup, and shutdown protocols.
  2. Operate machinery efficiently to prevent shutdowns and maintain workflow.
  3. Monitor and report any machine, fixture, product, or departmental issues to the Line Supervisor.
  4. Ensure maximum product quality by following standard operating procedures.
  5. Cross-train in various tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
  6. Meet daily production targets and maintain accuracy in work.
  7. Report any production issues that may impact efficiency or quality.
  8. Be available for mandatory and planned overtime as needed.
  9. Maintain a professional attitude and work ethic at all times.
  10. Keep work areas clean and organized (5S methodology).
  11. Review and understand work instructions daily.
  12. Show a willingness to learn and improve skills.
  13. Maintain a positive attitude and accountability in work performance.
  14. Lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
