Position: Assistant Project Manager


Position Summary:
Our company is seeking an assistant Project Manager to handle administrative duties for management and product teams. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage product specification, quality control, and shipping documentation to ensure accurate and timely product updates.
  • Participate in calls with US and China teams as appropriate to keep abreast of product development and production timing and needs.
  • Keep project tasks and dates up to date for product development teams, including changes in production timelines and reflecting those changes in task due dates.
  • Coordinate upcoming payments and shipments with product and accounting teams.
  • Use online tools to research potential products, assist in qualifying potential manufacturers, and identify manufacturers of competing products.
  • Prepare documentation used in approaching potential factory partners and strategic manufacturers.


Experience/Skills Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and must be able to handle several tasks at once
  • Clear ability to prioritize and complete all urgent and important tasks each day
  • Self-starter – able to problem solve and work without constant supervision
