Job description

Job Title: Weekend Assembler

Location: Logan, UT

Shift: Friday- Sunday 6am- 6:30pm

Pay: $17.60/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to produce Bioprocess Containers in a cleanroom environment. You will safely carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), and blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembling, material handling, equipment operating, and packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture, operate machinery, assemble tubing and connectors, package, and inspect products in accordance with product blueprints and manufacturing drawings while adhering to SOPs and WIDs.
  • Utilize tools and equipment such as computers, calculators, measuring tools, assembly hand tools, Bioprocess Container machinery, and pallet jacks.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Ensure products meet quality standards through strong attention to detail and cooperation with upstream and downstream stations to implement mutual inspection and correct quality errors.
  • Record accurate documentation in the Production Control Documents (PCD) as tasks are performed.
  • Actively participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities, including 5S activities.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in the manufacturing process and assist with training and mentoring co-workers.
  • Focus on personal development through timely and proactive completion of training.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in general production, assembly, and packaging.
  • Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and hand tools.
  • Familiarity with medical device production is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow cleanroom PPE requirements.
  • Capability to work on feet for the majority of the shift and perform repetitive tasks.
