NATURE AND SCOPE
Reporting to the AVP, Card Services, this position is responsible for reporting on key performance indicators related to cards, performing market analysis, and contributing to pricing, product, and promotional recommendations. The role monitors and reports usage trends to support efforts to attract and retain cardholders. This position also analyzes promotional data to assess profitability and retention and shares findings to support recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree and minimum two years of card services experience, preferably within financial services. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
2. Three years of analytical experience and proven ability to conduct thorough product analysis is preferred.
3. Ability to develop and maintain systematic reporting, analyze data to identify trends, and make program recommendations based on those insights.
4. Proficient in Excel, SQL/Sequel, Power BI, and data warehouse management tools, with a strong understanding of building pro forma and profitability models.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
6. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Conducts market analysis across pricing, product, and promotional activities to develop recommendations that support Landmark's card growth strategies.
2. Monitors spending to identify and report usage trends with the goal of attracting and retaining cardholders.
3. Compiles monthly reporting and identifies key performance indicators.
4. Prepares monthly exception reports and flags items of interest for further review.
5. Partners with Marketing and third-party vendors to analyze and manage promotional data for profitability and make recommendations accordingly.
6. Works within the Landmark and Card Services databases to complete ad-hoc analysis.
7. Utilizes Power BI, or other visualization programs to build automated dashboards and display data trends in an easy-to-understand manner.
8. Communicates insights and recommendations to management through well-structured reports and presentations.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
