What are the typical daily responsibilities of someone working in product visualization?

Product Visualization professionals are responsible for creating realistic, high-quality images and animations that showcase product designs and concepts. On a daily basis, this often involves collaborating with designers, engineers, and marketing teams to gather specifications, iterating on 3D models, adjusting lighting and materials, and rendering final visuals. You may also be asked to provide interactive visual experiences or contribute to presentations and marketing collateral. The role requires not only technical proficiency but also the ability to interpret feedback and solve visual challenges, ensuring that the end visuals align with the project’s vision and goals.

What is a product visualization?

A Product Visualization job involves creating high-quality visual representations of products using 3D modeling, rendering, and design software. Professionals in this role help communicate a product's design, function, and aesthetics before manufacturing or marketing. They work closely with designers, engineers, and marketers to produce images, animations, or interactive models for presentations, advertising, or e-commerce. Strong skills in software like Blender, KeyShot, or Adobe Suite are typically required.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in product visualization, and why are they important?

To thrive in Product Visualization, you need strong skills in 3D modeling, rendering, and visual communication, typically supported by a background in industrial design, graphic design, or a related field. Expertise with software like Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar industry-standard visualization tools is essential, and certifications in these programs can be advantageous. Creativity, attention to detail, problem-solving, and collaboration are critical soft skills that make a professional stand out in this role. These skills are vital for creating compelling visual representations that effectively communicate product concepts and support successful product development and marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately adding a full-time AI Systems Benchmarking & Product Engineer in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Fort Collins CO.
Summary:
Our client is seeking a contractor to support AI performance benchmarking and product marketing initiatives for advanced AI workstation platforms. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented contributor who can execute benchmark tests, organize performance data, and translate validated results into product marketing and sales enablement content. Working closely with AI engineering, product, and go-to-market teams, the individual will assist with benchmarking activities, evidence packaging, demo readiness, and marketing support.
Responsibilities include executing predefined AI benchmark workflows, capturing system performance metrics, maintaining experiment documentation, and identifying anomalies for technical review. The role will create evidence packs, charts, reports, and comparison summaries that help technical and business teams understand performance outcomes.
Additional responsibilities include supporting AI demos, documenting proof-of-concept activities, maintaining runbooks and asset trackers, and contributing to sales collateral, demo scripts, competitive positioning, FAQ content, and enablement materials. Success requires the ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly while ensuring all performance claims are supported by validated data and approved through established review processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Exposure to PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, Hugging Face, Ollama, vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, or similar AI tooling
* Familiarity with GPU/CPU concepts, Windows and Linux environments, Docker, Git, and repeatable experiment practices
* Career experience or coursework in computer science, data science, engineering, product marketing, technical marketing, business analytics, or a related field
* Strong curiosity about Agentic AI, workstations, GPUs, local inference, GenAI workflows, and how technical performance becomes customer value
* Ability to follow technical runbooks carefully, document results with discipline, and ask good questions when results do not make sense
* Working knowledge of Python, command-line tools, spreadsheets, and basic data visualization
* Clear written communication skills with the ability to convert technical notes into concise business-facing content
* High ownership, integrity with data, attention to detail, and comfort operating in an ambiguous emerging category
* Experience creating marketing materials, launch briefs, enablement decks, technical blogs, demos, or sales collateral
* Basic understanding of LLM inference, RAG, fine-tuning, quantization, prompt workflows, model serving, or multimodal AI applications
* Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, marketing, and sales
