About Your Role

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and commercialization of new circuit protection products.

  • Develop and evaluate new product concepts, prototypes, and engineering solutions.

  • Create mechanical specifications, engineering drawings, design documentation, and cost estimates.

  • Conduct product verification and validation activities, including test plan development and execution.

  • Analyze test results and identify opportunities for product performance improvements.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and product optimization.

  • Research new materials, technologies, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.

  • Procure samples, build prototypes, and perform testing to validate design concepts.

  • Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and project updates for stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

  • Interface directly with customers to understand application requirements and develop effective product solutions.

  • Participate in project reviews and provide regular progress updates to leadership and project teams.

  • Support compliance with industry standards and third-party certification requirements.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience designing electrical power fuses, fuse accessories, or related circuit protection products.

  • Strong knowledge of fuse design principles and circuit protection technologies.

  • Understanding of industry standards, certification requirements, and third-party approval processes (UL or equivalent).

  • Experience working within manufacturing environments and product industrialization processes.

  • Proven project management experience with the ability to lead multiple development activities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets and documentation tools.

  • Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar 2D/3D CAD software.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and product testing capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, quality, and customer-facing teams.

  • Medium Voltage Fuse experience is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment.
