Manager, Product Strategy & Management, Audit and Assurance

Drive product strategy and delivery for solutions that support Deloitte's Audit & Assurance business. This role works across business and technology teams to define priorities, translate requirements into actionable product plans, and help deliver tools that improve quality, efficiency, and user experience. The ideal candidate brings product ownership experience, strong execution skills, and the ability to align stakeholders around business goals.

As a Product Owner, Manager on the Audit & Assurance team, you will be responsible for...

  • Defining and maintaining product vision, roadmap, and release priorities aligned to business objectives and user needs
  • Partnering with business, risk, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Managing and prioritizing the product backlog to support delivery goals, dependency management, and release planning
  • Collaborating with engineering, testing, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to support solution delivery and user acceptance testing
  • Using user feedback, product metrics, and operational data to identify enhancements and drive continuous improvement

The practice focuses on independent external audit services, Accounting, Controls & Reporting Advisory, and Specialized Assurance & Sustainability. We combine industry experience, technology, and a global network to deliver audits of financial statements and internal controls over financial reporting, along with assurance reports, advice, and insights across the corporate reporting landscape. Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or technology delivery
  • 3+ years of experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria
  • Experience working with Agile teams and product management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Experience supporting products used in audit, accounting, controls, finance, or regulatory workflows
  • In depth knowledge of financial products or valuation of financial instruments, such as hedge fund and private equity investments
  • You should reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required
  • You should expect to co-locate with team members or other colleagues in a Deloitte office, at a client site and/or virtually, based on specific team and business expectations.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the type of work you perform and the clients served
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Master's degree
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent certification
  • Experience with user acceptance testing, release management, or change management
  • Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) or systems integration
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience in professional services or public accounting environments

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,100 - $232,300.
