Job Description

SunMED Medical is seeking a mastectomy (CMF)/compression garment fitter to join our NY location, A Personal Touch Boutiques, in either a part-time or full-time capacity. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential.

  • Provides clear and concise paperwork to the inside sales team to facilitate product ordering. Communicates effectively with inside sales team. Helps to obtain prescriptions and additional paperwork when asked.
  • Measures patients for Mastectomy and Lymphedema products. Completes the correct forms based on the products ordered. Ensures a proper fit for each patient. Works with the inside team when a return is necessary.
  • Is familiar with products and assists therapists/customers/patients with product selection.
  • Schedules fitting appointments efficiently in order to accomplish as many fittings as possible each day.
  • Upon delivery in the Boutique, ensures a proper fit of garments.
  • Develops positive relationships with local referral sources and manufacturer reps.
  • Traveling to other boutique and facility locations for fittings, as needed.
Qualifications
  • Prior Mastectomy and Compression Garment Fitting Experience preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Understanding of Insurance and the ability to convey benefits to patients
  • Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and other employees.
  • Ability to build rapport with customer and personalize their experience.
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with computers and willingness to learn our program used for patient charting.
  • Adaptability to new processes and technology.

We have a pleasant work environment, with a flexible work schedule between the workday hours of 8AM-6PM, and some Saturdays as needed.
