Job description

As Factory Production Supervisor you will:

  • Supervise 30+ employees to ensure security, safety, specs, quality assurance of products, sanitation, HACCP, SQF and FDA regulations are followed.
  • Schedule shifts for all line employees.
  • Orient new employees and conduct training for department-related activities.
  • Coach and counsel employees on performance and provide feedback to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with Production and Factory Management team and act as a liaison.
  • Follow daily production schedules and notify management team of staff shortages.
  • Train employees on food safety and on-the-job training.
  • Ensure training is effective through competencies evaluation (observation, group written & verbal questions).
  • Participate in monthly food safety meetings and plan building, changes, and/or verification.
  • Follow-up on action plans resulting from food safety initiatives such as pre-operational inspections, internal/external audits, Critical Control Points, and Preventative Control deviations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a Food or Beverage manufacturing environment
  • Experience in training, handling people, and resolving conflicts.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Have the ability to work independently with little supervision, and be part of a team as well.
  • Be available to work any hours assigned, 5 days or more per week, Monday- Saturday, including early mornings and late nights
