SS&C is seeking to hire a Product Manager for its rapidly growing Distribution Solutions business. In this exciting and highly visible role, you will be interacting with both clients and prospects regularly as well as managing the product roadmap, including AI initiatives related to the Alts data set.
Responsible for managing the WalletShare for Alternatives product, as well as other WalletShare new and existing services, including the user interface. Responsible for coordinating with other product managers and relationship managers to capture client feedback, develop requirements and manage the sprint process with your technical partners.
The WalletShare product is used by asset managers to identify opportunity and is an essential part of the sales team's workflow. Developing the strategic and technical vision for the product roadmap will be an essential role as our clients leverage data to meet their strategic goals.
The Distribution Solutions business is a rapidly growing and innovative business with new clients, new products and many opportunities. What You Will Get To Do:

The WalletShare product is used by asset managers to identify opportunity and is an essential part of the Sales teams workflow. Developing the strategic and technical vision for the product roadmap will be an essential role as our clients leverage data to meet their strategic goals.
Client Management:Responsible for relationship development and management with key individuals and senior decision makers at each client in the areas of analytics and business intelligence. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship management skills to provide clients with the support and technical assistance they need to be successful with the Distribution Intelligence Solutions product suite.
The Product Manager works closely with the Client Relationship team to ensure client needs are met. The Product Manager contributes to relationship management via demos to prospects, meeting with internal and external Sales team members to further gather feedback from clients and provide expertise on the use of WalletShare products. The Product Manager will also assist in managing strategic relationships, enhancing client services solutions, and helping lead clients through the on-boarding and training process.
Account Planning:Coordinate across the WalletShare teams to ensure that product feedback is gathered, new clients are onboarded and any technical issues are resolved.
Cross Team Coordination:Align SS&C resources (e.g., Product Development, SMEs, Customer Support, Customer Success) to respond to client needs and maximize client "stickiness" and value delivered
Capture client feedback: Communicate client feedback across the teams to ensure feedback informs the product roadmap and that the SS&C Sales team can capture product value and benefits with prospects.
Training & Client Onboarding:Partner with the Client Relationship team to ensure they are able to explain new enhancements and onboard clients successfully. Review all training activities, training plans and other training requirements to ensure they encompass key product benefits and align with customer training needs, internal requirements and product release rollouts. Develop and maintain participant and instructor materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, job aids, etc.) and plan for ongoing client outreach. Track usage before and after training activities to ensure clients are fully onboarded and able to actively use the product suite.
What You Will Bring:
5-10 years of related experience
Bachelor's Degree (major in Economics or Finance preferred but not required)
Focus- at ease weighing different views and making smart, quick decisions, especially under pressure. Ability to organize and keep track of multiple clients while maintaining individualized relationships with key stakeholders. Be detail-oriented and understand client strategic objectives.

Manage, administer, and track usage analytics with goal of increasing usage and ensuring clients are able to effectively use data and user interface.
Communicate with management on progress and performance of trainees and provide reporting to all levels of management.
Continually develop new aspects of all the products and services offered by the division by participating in ongoing product development, capturing enhancements in training documentation, and providing training to clients.
