As a member of our Worldwide Product Marketing group, you'll represent the customer throughout a product's journey from concept through development and launch. You'll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product development process. At Apple, we combine product management and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross-functional Product Management role that collaborates with design, engineering, finance, legal, marketing communications, public relations, market research, and sales for maximum impact across the organization.
Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing team for watchOS. This individual will be responsible for leading the messaging, launch deliverables, and release strategy for watchOS along with helping to define new features that will shape the future of Apple Watch.

Minimum Qualifications
4+ years experience in product marketing and/or product management roles, including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch with consumer software products and technologies for software platforms.
Hands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and/or partnering with engineering and design during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities.
Recent experience within the last 3 years in one or more of the following software segments: smartwatch/wearables/fitness/health software, mobile operating systems, software integration, computer or mobile hardware, or adjacent.
Ability to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote addresses in an area of subject matter expertise, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep understanding of wearable operating systems preferred but will consider mobile/tablet experience as well.
Experience and ability to synthesize technologies into product communication for broad audience including customers, media, analysts, and industry specialists.
Best-in-class oral and written communication skills.
Strong ability to lead through influence, debate and storytelling.
Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles high stakes decisions with ease, with the ability to cut through ambiguity.
A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
Press and media experience with demonstrated success as a product spokesperson on a national or global level.
Able and willing to travel internationally.
BS/BA and/or MBA.
