As a CPG Product Manager, you assist in the review of the product line, its details and its strategy while working with nearly every department in the organization, domestically and internationally, and externally. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Lifecycle Management and Financial Analysis: Oversee the entire product lifecycle to the addressable market including: competitive analysis, white space mapping, key feature development, product check development, design brief development CMF integrations, and pricing strategy development based on financial analysis and market forecasts. Make data-driven recommendations to optimize product contribution and achieve targets, ensuring alignment with category objectives
  2. Cross-Functional Leadership and Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams effectively to bring products to market in a timely manner, adhering to budget constraints and maintaining best-in-class quality standards. Utilize strong project management skills and go-to-market strategies to drive successful product launches.
  3. Product Expertise and Communication: Serve as the internal and external expert on Ledge's product portfolio, conducting product training sessions, presentations, and effectively articulating product features and benefits. Ensure clear communication of product value propositions to internal teams, partners, and customers.
  4. SKU Management and Implementation: Manage SKUs throughout the product lifecycle, from identification and creation to implementation. Ensure accurate and efficient SKU management processes interacting with operations, finance and sales teams to support product line expansion and optimization.
  5. Collaboration and Support for Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to create and modify product requirements, such as assembly instructions, statement of lines, and market analysis. Provide support and expertise to align product development initiatives with overall business goals.
  6. Strategic Vision and Market Analysis: Contribute to the strategic vision of the product category, including maintaining the product roadmap and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. Stay informed about market trends, consumer needs, competitive landscape, and brand positioning to inform product strategies and decisions.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading sporting goods, housewares, or other CPG product management process.
  • Robust personal organizational and time management skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting company values.
  • Experience in a lifestyle brand is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while producing timely deliverables.
  • Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, or as required.
  • Travel may be required.
  • This position is hybrid: 4 days a week in office, 1 day a week at home.
