Overview

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for a Shading Solutions Product Manager located in Coopersburg, PA. In this role, you will be a key member of the Shades Product Management team, driving execution of product development, launch, and portfolio plans. You will serve as a central point of coordination across product management, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure alignment, efficiency, and successful product delivery. 


You will play a critical role in translating product strategy into execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with customer needs. By partnering cross-functionally, you will help bring new products to market, support lifecycle management, and continuously improve portfolio performance. Your ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and manage competing priorities will be essential to success. 
This role requires strong collaboration, operational discipline, and a customer-focused mindset to support the growth and innovation of Lutron’s shading solutions portfolio.


Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of product development plans aligned to strategic objectives and timelines
  • Define and maintain product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap
  • Execute product portfolio plans across the full product lifecycle
  • Translate strategy into requirements, user stories, and development deliverables
  • Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and commercial teams to drive execution
  • Coordinate go-to-market planning, launch readiness, and cross-functional alignment
  • Provide market, customer, and competitive insights to inform product decisions
  • Conduct customer and market research to identify unmet needs and opportunities
  • Monitor product performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement 
  • Manage products from concept through launch, optimization, and sunsetting 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required - Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, new product development, or go-to-market execution
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  • Strong understanding of full product development lifecycle, including technical or SaaS products
  • Ability to work onsite in Coopersburg, PA
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically
