Position Overview:

In this role, you serve as the primary finance partner to Polaris' Global Channel and Off Road Vehicle (ORV) Product Line Sales organizations, helping guide decisions that shape dealer programs, promotions, and overall business performance. You will lead core financial planning processes and provide insights that influence retail strategy, dealer profitability, and network optimization. You will collaborate closely with Sales, SIOP, and Channel leaders to assess financial outcomes and recommend actions that support profitable growth. This position offers the opportunity to influence highvisibility initiatives and build financial tools and analytics that directly impact Polaris' dealer network and ORV business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and longrange planning for operating expenses, capital, and promotion spend for the ORV business.

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Selling Channels, Product Line Sales, and Service teams, delivering business planning, performance management, and ad hoc financial analysis.

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support ORV promotions strategy, partnering with Sales and SIOP to drive retail growth, market share, and gross profit.

  • Lead quarterly analysis of the promotions balance sheet reserve, developing datadriven analytics that improve forecasting accuracy, visibility, and automation.

  • Facilitate monthly financial reviews to reconcile results, identify trends, and recommend actions to meet business commitments.

  • Provide financial leadership and analytical support for strategic dealer incentive programs, including the Polaris Northstar Dealer Program and Polaris Certified Service.

  • Build financial models and tools that enhance dealer profitability insights and support new strategic priorities related to dealer operations.

  • Partner with the Global Channel team to evaluate business cases related to dealer network optimization, including buy/sell activity and strategic realignments.

  • Develop, train, and mentor interns, associates, and analysts to strengthen analytical capabilities and business partnership skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Advanced degree desired.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles of increasing responsibility.

  • Automotive and or powersports industry experience preferred.

  • Experience with dealership promotion finance is a plus.

  • Experience with financial systems tools such as Power BI, OneStream, or Alteryx required.

  • Experience coordinating large financial processes such as divisional or corporate budgets and forecasts.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable insights and plans.

  • Experience leading or supporting monthly financial close and preparing reporting packages for senior leadership.

  • Strong influencing, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills within a matrixed environment.

  • Some occasional travel required.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $110,000 to $140,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
