Job description

The Associate Product Manager works under the guidance of the Vice President of Product in support of the Microsoft solution suite. They drive the business needs of the company while staying closely connected to the Voice of the Customer (VoC), maintaining industry and market expertise including subject matter expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Copilot and all adjacent products relevant to the business, collaborating with the technical team, supporting both organizational and individual business line product roadmaps, and contributing to cross-functional teams in the value delivered to our clients. They demonstrate strategic thinking, while also being able to leverage a high degree of technical expertise with both internal and external efforts.
What you will do here:
Responsible for the analysis, creation, vendor ownership, ongoing management and communication of the Microsoft products, licenses, costs and roadmap(s) aligned with business objectives and supported by business cases, business line requirements and market research. Monitors channel performance to recommend and lead improvements and new product offerings.
Guides internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, the engineering, design, information security, and associated external vendor partners to help determine the best implementation, launch, ongoing sustainment methods/activity and other associated product lifecycle management considerations.
Executes on programs that drive customer adoption and ROI of assigned products and services. Works with internal stakeholders to monitor and address product and client challenges. Translates customer needs and technology directions into new features and services. Ensures products comply with applicable financial regulations and data security standards.
Understands, researches, and follows technical trends in the industry, collaborating closely with internal technical teams to ensure maximum effectiveness in the delivery of product requirements. Gathers customer feedback to validate that the product works against stated metrics and adoption targets.
Works as a product owner in an agile team, specifically documenting user stories, acceptance criteria, and product capabilities. Delivers a prioritized product backlog ensuring alignment with sprint goals, KPIs, and release readiness.
Drives adoption metrics and reporting, including tracking adoption rates, user engagement, and training effectiveness. Communicates Microsoft product changes, roadmap updates, and release readiness to client and business line stakeholders. Supports change management efforts related to Microsoft solution rollouts.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a technology related field preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
2+ years experience in driving enterprise adoption and utilization of Microsoft 365 and related products required.
2+ years experience in strategic analysis related to system implementation in a B2B environment required.
2+ years working with cross-functional teams required.
Microsoft 365 and related product experience required.
Proven product management skills and experience required.
Demonstrated combination of technical aptitude and high emotional intelligence required.
Experience in Agile methodologies and product lifecycle required.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills appropriate to all levels of the organization as well as clients required.
Proficiency in all Microsoft 365 and adjunct solutions required.
Change management experience related to technology adoption and rollouts required.
