The Opportunity

As part of PwC's Scaled Engineering Services practice, you will contribute to delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions that enable operational excellence and business agility. Our teams apply deep technical expertise and a strong service-oriented mindset to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade IT systems and applications. In this capacity, you will help lead and coordinate end-to-end execution of technology initiatives-driving disciplined project planning, proactive stakeholder communication, and consistent service delivery across cross-functional engineering teams.

As aTechnical Product Owner, you will lead the charge in driving innovation and excellence within our Advisory practice. You will be at the forefront of software and product innovation, working closely with engagement teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their business operations. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions that align with engagement team objectives.

As a Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to mentor and develop junior staff, confirming that project goals are met with precision and professionalism. You will be responsible for managing engagement team accounts, overseeing project execution, and maintaining the quality of deliverables. Your strategic planning abilities will beimportantwithidentifying opportunities for growth and improvement, while your commitment to integrity and authenticity will help foster strong engagement team relationships.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work within our Advisory practice, where you will utilize your skills in software development, project planning, and engagement team management to drive impactful results. Your ability to embrace technology and innovation will be key in delivering exceptional service and achieving engagement team satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and delivery of software and product innovation initiatives, aligning engineering execution with client and firm strategy.

  • Own engagement relationships, managing expectations and translating business objectives into product roadmaps and delivery plans.

  • Direct cross-functional teams in designing and building scalable solutions using modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#.NET) and application frameworks.

  • Oversee enterprise application integration, APIs, and microservices architecture to enable interoperability and business agility.

  • Institutionalize quality practices, including ATDD, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.

  • Drive CI/CD adoption to improve release velocity, reliability, and operational efficiency.

  • Lead rigorous business requirementsanalysis toconfirmalignment with industry standards and engagement goals.

  • Establish and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, estimates, commitments, and risk mitigation.

  • Mentor and develop junior talent, elevating team capability in product strategy, engineering discipline, and project management.

  • Champion innovative technologies and continuous improvement to enhance product performance, user experience, and business impact.

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Engineering Product Management for each missing year of college is required

- At least 12 years of experience

The salary range for this position is: $114,000 - $132,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
