AI at SharkNinja

At SharkNinja, we’re building an AI-native culture. We’re not waiting for the future; we’re creating it. Our people are expected to experiment boldly, adopt new tools, and continuously raise what’s possible to create meaningful impact for our consumers. If you believe the best way to do your job hasn’t been invented yet, you’ll fit right in.

Manager, Product Development — Shark Robots

Needham, MA (onsite)

At SharkNinja, Product Development are the "product CEOs." We own the global roadmap from concept to shelf, partnering with nearly every team in the company to deliver products consumers love. We come from product marketing, engineering, human factors, and design — united by one standard: a 5-star experience on every product we launch.

In this role you'll lead a team of product developers building the next generation of Shark robots, one of our fastest-growing categories.

What you'll do
  • Own new product development for your assigned products from brainstorm through mass production — and partner with leadership to shape the broader category direction.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of product developers: set goals, hold the bar, and build careers.
  • Define product specs at the intersection of consumer needs, market white space, and flagship technology — as the primary consumer advocate in the room.
  • Set design targets for performance and user experience, and hold engineering, industrial design, and marketing to them.
  • Partner with our Insights & Intelligence team on consumer testing, and turn that feedback into design iterations.
  • Work with testing and quality teams to define performance and quality standards.
  • Manage cost structure and rationalization, and shape sourcing strategy with supply chain, merchandising, and planning.
  • Guide go-to-market collateral, instructional materials, and post-purchase troubleshooting/FAQ content.
  • Serve as the category expert for the cross-functional org — and take on high-visibility "breakthrough" initiatives that accelerate your growth.
What you bring
  • 5+ years in product development, product marketing, human factors, or a related field — consumer goods preferred.
  • Experience hiring, managing, and setting goals for a team.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, management, or engineering.
  • A relentlessly consumer-first instinct.
  • Standout communication: crisp writing, efficient problem-solving conversations, and presentations that hold up in front of our executive leadership team.
  • Strong project management — you prioritize well and keep multiple programs moving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with transparency and shifting priorities, and a genuine appetite to learn.
