Position Summary

The Digital Business Development Manager is responsible for growing Crawford's digital business by identifying opportunities where digital solutions can create value for our customers. Working closely with sales teams and customers, this role helps improve how customers buy, manage inventory, track projects, and do business with Crawford. Through partnership with Digital Operations and Material Solutions, the role drives customer adoption, strengthens relationships, and supports long-term growth across Crawford's digital solutions products.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

  • Find and develop digital opportunities within the sales pipeline that drive revenue and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Review projects, bids, and customer's needs to identify where digital solutions can create value.
  • Partner with sales teams to build account plans and position Crawford's digital tools as a competitive advantage.

Customer Solutions & Adoption

  • Work with customers to understand their purchasing, inventory, project, and ordering processes and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Support customer meetings, presentations, site visits, and proposals by demonstrating the value of Crawford's digital platform.
  • Partner with Material Solutions and Digital Operations teams to deliver successful implementations and grow customer adoption of digital solutions.

Training, Support & Performance

  • Train and support sales associates on digital tools, customer value, and opportunity identification.
  • Track digital revenue, adoption, and conversion results while sharing customer feedback and improvement opportunities with leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Electrical Distribution Industry a plus
  • 3-5 years in eCommerce, digital business, digital marketing, or marketing technology
  • Sales experience strongly preferred

Additional Requirement

  • Ability to travel 60% of the time, sometimes overnight
