We currently have an opening for the following position:
Job Title: Product Development Manager, Housewares
Job Summary:
The Product Development Manager will work directly with the COO on project assignments including product sourcing, product development, sample production, overseas communication and negotiations with the factories in Asia.
Job functions subjected but not limited to:
  • Manage and coordinate product development projects
  • Work in harmony with the housewares team for the efficient and smooth operation
  • Suggest and evaluate technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues
  • Ensure labeling and marketing literature match product specifications
  • Monitor existing product categories and identify potential new product opportunities
  • Work closely with Sales, Overseas Hamlin, Hamlin, McGill Staff, and factories.
  • Manage project deadlines.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of product development experience in cookware, flatware or cutlery category products is required
  • Knowledge of product development concepts, practices, and procedures including manufacturing processes and capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals on all levels
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin strongly preferred
  • Experience with key USA retailers strongly preferred
