Job Summary:
Armada is a leading provider of modular AI infrastructure and is seeking a Director of Product for AI to spearhead their AI product development initiatives. The role involves defining and executing the AI product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful launch of AI solutions tailored for industrial and public sector customers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive AI product strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals in bringing AI transformation to important industries.
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the AI space.
• Gather insights from the partner eco-system, system integrators and key technology providers and complimentary players in the market.
• Interact with customers and partners, gather and analyze opportunities, requirements, and pain points to inform AI product development.
• Create and manage the AI product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer and business needs.
• Collaborate closely with ML and platform engineering, design, sales, finance and marketing teams to ensure the successful development and launch of AI products.
• Define clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI initiatives.
• Lead the go-to-market strategy for AI products, including pricing, customer contracts, positioning, and marketing efforts.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor product performance, making data-driven decisions for optimization.
• Maintain a feedback loop with internal stakeholders and customers to continuously improve AI products.
• Ensure that AI products comply with relevant regulations and ethical considerations, including data privacy and bias mitigation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
• At least 10 years of Product Management experience, with a track record of successfully launching and managing AI products over the last 5 years.
• In-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science concepts including a strong understanding of various AI and ML models, techniques, and applications including image classifiers, transformers, neural nets, deep learning, generative AI.
• Strong B2B Enterprise experience, and experience working with large industrial and/or public sector customers.
• Experience in product management of IoT Products such as drones, cameras, sensors, body cams etc.
• Domain knowledge of one of the following is highly desired: Industrial Automation, Asset Performance Management, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, State and Local agencies, Defense.
• Experience building product UI and UX in collaboration with design team.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication (verbal, written) and presentation skills to senior executive audiences.
• Customer-centric mindset with a keen sense of user experience.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
