Overview
We're producing short, fun, and engaging videos featuring a young child in playful, kid-friendly settings. Content is designed for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with a focus on family entertainment and storytelling that resonates with both children and parents. We're looking for a creative, hands-on team member who can help bring these moments to life — from the moment we hit record to the final edit.
What You'll Be Doing
On Set / Filming
  • Assist with or lead filming of short-form video content in home, outdoor, and lifestyle settings
  • Operate a smartphone or camera to capture vertical (9:16) footage with strong framing and lighting awareness
  • Help set up simple lighting, backdrops, or props as needed
  • Keep the environment calm, fun, and productive when filming with a young child
  • Capture multiple angles, b-roll, and reaction shots to give editing flexibility
Production Support
  • Assist with scheduling, shot planning, and light creative direction
  • Organize and transfer raw footage after each shoot
  • Communicate proactively about what's needed before, during, and after filming days
Editing & Post-Production
  • Edit short-form clips with strong pacing, energy, and visual engagement
  • Add fun text overlays, emojis, sound effects, and upbeat music
  • Perform light color correction, cleanup, and audio balancing
  • Deliver polished, platform-ready content on agreed timelines
You Should Have
  • Experience filming and/or editing short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
  • Comfort working in an informal, family-friendly home or outdoor environment
  • A strong eye for framing, lighting, and pacing
  • A patient, positive, and adaptable attitude — especially around young children
  • A portfolio showing creativity and relevance to family or kids content
Bonus Skills
  • Motion graphics or animated text
  • Basic knowledge of natural or ring light setups
  • Familiarity with current TikTok and Instagram trends
  • Prior experience on kids or family-centered productions
To Apply, Please Share
  • 3–5 samples of relevant work (filming and/or editing)
  • Whether you're applying for filming, editing, or both
  • Your availability and general rate (hourly or per-project)
  • Your typical turnaround time for edits
We're looking for someone who brings playful energy, creative instincts, and a genuine love for this kind of content — someone who's just as comfortable behind the camera as they are in the edit.
