Job description

Job Summary 

Our front-line, do-it-all role. Crew Members deliver fast, friendly service while making subs to Jersey Mike's standards, rotating across the register, prep, the slicer, and the grill. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Greet and serve every guest promptly, courteously, and with a Great Big Smile 
  • Take orders accurately and assemble cold and hot subs to brand specifications 
  • Operate the meat and cheese slicer to slice fresh to order (must be 18+) 
  • Work the grill station for hot subs such as cheesesteaks and chicken 
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately on the POS 
  • Keep the line, dining room, and restrooms clean, stocked, and sanitized 
  • Follow all food-safety and sanitation standards 
  • Receive deliveries, restock, and rotate product; assist with daily prep 

Qualifications 

  • Friendly, positive, team-oriented attitude — this matters most 
  • No experience required; food-service or retail experience a plus 
  • Must be at least 18+ required to operate the meat slicer 
  • Reliable and punctual with flexible availability, including weekends 
  • Able to obtain any required food handler card 

Physical Requirements 

  • Stand and move for entire shifts 
  • Lift up to ~30 lbs 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with hot equipment
