Job description

Position Summary
Cincinnati Test Systems is actively seeking a Standard Products Applications Engineer to join our Product Team. This position will work closely with customers, distributors, sales personnel, and engineering teams to develop leak testing solutions utilizing CTS standard products. This role will have a wide range of responsibilities that will include:
  • Understanding customer application requirements and recommending appropriate leak testing solutions;
  • Developing technical and commercial proposals for standard product opportunities;
  • Supporting and overseeing application testing in the CTS laboratory;
  • Assisting customers, distributors, and sales personnel with product selection and technical support;
  • Providing technical expertise on challenging customer applications and test requirements;
  • Serving as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and Engineering;
  • Assisting with product launches, training, and documentation for new products and features;
  • Occasional domestic and international travel to support customers, demonstrations, and training activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred;
  • 3-5 years of experience in applications engineering, manufacturing engineering, automation, test engineering, or a related technical field;
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, controls, and measurement principles;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities;
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team environment;
  • Experience with industrial instrumentation, automation, leak testing, or test and measurement equipment preferred.
