Job description

As a Commercial P&D driver you will work out of our Wilks location providing P&D service to our Commercial Customers and move product from store locations, Warehouse to customers as needed.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Report to and work under the direction of Store Manager and Support Sales Staff, such as Commercial Sales Manager, or Sales team.
  • Physically load and unload product for safe transportation.
  • Properly and accurately check load invoice against product load and be accountable of process to management.
  • Consistent work attendance, as it is important to be consistent with customer's delivery days and schedules.
  • Clean and maintain delivery truck and trailer.
  • Maintain and inspect truck and trailer regularly to keep a safe and well-kept delivery unit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Help keep shop areas clean and organized.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Clean, valid Driver's license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have or able to obtain DOT Health Card
  • Physically able to roll commercial truck tires onto and off trailer ramp (50 -150 lbs.).
  • Ability to drive for 8+ hours per day within DOT limits.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • CDL a plus, but not required.

Candidate Criteria:
  • Commitment to follow all safety procedures and comply with DOT regulations and safety requirements.
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
  • Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others.
  • Hard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamwork.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelines.
