Job description

Position Summary:
The Produce Specialist team member is responsible for reworking produce being received into the warehouse, ensuring that our high-quality standards are met. This associate also ensures all food safety procedures and GMP’s are being followed.
 
What you’ll do:
  • Inspects all incoming produce for defects.
  • Exercises judgment when conducting audits to ensure all product meets our high standard of quality.
  • Culls/trims/ repack produce to meet presentation and quality guidelines.
  • Conducts routine audits to ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are practiced.
  • Maintains all paperwork in an accurate, orderly fashion.
  • Assists other departments as needed.

About you:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Works with Quality Assurance Team to ensure specific Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed.
  • Employee shall adhere to all company food safety policies, procedures, and trainings.
  • 2 years of previous quality control experience with produce.
  • Quality control experience in a produce warehouse preferred.
