OverviewAt Sunriver Resort, we're passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our guests. We're looking for a National Sales Manager who shares that passion and can connect organizations and groups with everything our destination has to offer. The National Sales Manager is responsible for successfully booking business within the assigned segments. S/he will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with current and prospective business. The Sales Manager will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

The National Sales Manager shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!

Responsibilities
  • Books profitable business for the resort
  • Solicits potential sales leads and prospects for new business opportunities
  • Contacts clients to sell special amenities and/or extras to enhance their stay
  • Establishes strong rapport with clientele; maintaining strong communication prior to resort stay
  • Maintains strong client base within assigned market segment
  • Actively participates in industry related organizations
  • Consistently works to book repeat business
  • Maintains close contact with clients to determine needs, expectations, etc.
  • Communicates effectively with resort staff to ensure smooth delivery of all services
  • Coordinates and conducts site tours for booked and potential guests
  • Assists in producing sales contracts
  • Achieves designated sales goals
  • Actively participates in community/civic activities to maintain awareness within community and to create booking opportunities
  • Participates in geographically appropriate trade shows

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Four year degree preferred
  • At least three to five years sales experience preferred
  • At least one year hospitality experience preferred
  • At least one year customer service experience preferred

  • Must have valid Oregon drivers license and meet company driving standards
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to work with high level of accuracy
