About the Role

This role leads enterprise-wide sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management to ensure reliable supply, cost efficiency, and strong supplier partnerships across the organization.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead global sourcing and category strategies across direct and indirect spend
  • Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing (RFI/RFQ/RFP, negotiations, contracts, supplier onboarding)
  • Build and maintain a strong, risk-mitigated supplier network
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers
  • Partner with Operations, Planning, and Sales to ensure material availability and inventory optimization
  • Track and drive procurement KPIs (cost savings, OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance)
  • Lead supplier quality and sustainability initiatives with cross-functional teams
  • Establish procurement policies, compliance standards, and best practices
  • Hire, develop, and lead procurement team members
  • Implement and optimize procurement systems and tools (ERP, eSourcing, analytics)
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting
  • Support new product introductions and cost reduction initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing leadership experience
  • Strong experience in manufacturing environments (chemicals, packaging, MRO preferred)
  • Proven success negotiating complex supplier agreements
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience with supplier risk management and multi-sourcing strategies preferred
  • MBA or certifications (CPSM, CPIM/CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus
