We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to add to our Procurement Team.
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory levels for raw materials, tooling, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies. This role works closely with production, engineering, inventory, and accounting to ensure materials and supplies are available to support operations while maintaining cost control, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
What You’ll Do:
  • Purchase raw materials, tooling, and MRO supplies in support of production and facility operations
  • Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing vendors
  • Request and evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Issue purchase orders and track order status to ensure on-time delivery
  • Work with the inventory team to monitor inventory levels and reorder stock materials is needed
  • Maintain supplier database and vendor performance records
  • Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and service
  • Track purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare reports on spending, supplier performance, and inventory levels
  • Assist with budgeting and cost analysis for materials and tooling
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records
  • Ensure purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation are properly matched
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Experience purchasing raw materials, tooling, or MRO supplies preferred
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
