Position Details?
  • Compensation: $50K Base Salary + Bonus Potential
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, days, subject to change based on needs of the business

Position Purpose:
As the Foodservice Sales Specialist, you will report to the Food Service Sales Manager and be responsible for supporting and executing our foodservice initiatives. You will also coordinate customer visits to our Opco kitchen including preparing products and product sampling. A successful candidate will be extremely organized, have excellent communication skills and contribute to the quality that we provide to our customers. They must also be comfortable and polished when presenting to customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Liaison with procurement, inventory control teams, and sales to manage inventory to support weekly and monthly demands for food service and convenience programs
  • Schedule food service sample kits
  • Processing of all necessary sales documentation and agreements
  • Coordinating and securing food service equipment needs for customers
  • Obtain and enter purchase orders from sales team within timely manner as needed
  • Assist sales team with follow-up including order confirmations and bookings
  • Create sales presentations and promotional marketing materials through PowerPoint
  • Maintaining pricing information as it pertains to food service.
  • Update and notify sales team of major price changes
  • Collaborating with sales to analyze profit margins and mark ups.
  • Compiling, writing, and distributing required reports.
  • Researching and resolving customer concerns.
  • Manage food service inventory
  • Oversee proprietary customer products to ensure distribution and decrease waste
  • Collaborate with sales team for customer specific concerns/issues/opportunities

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Strong data entry and typing skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively to both internal team and external customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Word (i.e. V-lookups and Pivot Tables)
