About the Role
The Operations Support Coordinator's role is to generate "profitable growth through the sale and distribution of refreshing beverages, innovative customer-focused marketing programs and superior customer service".
  • The Operations Coordinator accomplishes this by analyzing and scheduling dynamic daily routing plans
  • The Operations Coordinator then organizes pallets, consolidates trucks, and sends orders to be picked in the warehouse
  • Separately, the Operations Coordinator is in charge of Order Procurement for an assigned (or multiple) franchises. This entails gathering a detailed forecast and utilizing procurement tools in order to make the proper ordering decision
  • This person will communicate with external suppliers and/or internal sales and operations teams if ad hoc supply chain issues arise that require improvised inventory adjustment actions
  • This position also provides coverage and support across the entire operational support department
  • Through superior customer service, the Operations Support Coordinator can help the Company achieve its vision to be the pre-eminent sales and distribution organization
  • Additional Duties as assigned

The Operations Coordinator should excel in the process of planning, organizing, leading and facilitating the efforts of WP Beverages by using all available resources, and developing new resources, to achieve organizational goals.
It is essential that the Operations Coordinator practice a time management process that will allow the completion of assigned tasks within the required time frame. The Operations Coordinator must possess the skills to make critical decisions and perform under stressful conditions. The Operations Coordinator should always be seeking opportunities that will result in the continuous improvement of each franchises operation. All decisions and actions must be made that will always keep the best interest of WP Beverages in mind. The Operations Coordinator must recognize both internal and external customers and strive to meet or exceed their expectations.
The Operations Coordinator must possess the following skills and knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business related field or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum three years operations experience in either Order Procurement and/or Strategic Routing
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with problem solving and decision-making abilities to manage multiple projects within a fast paced environment
  • A strategic thinker with a vision who possesses strong management, leadership, and coaching abilities
  • Support various operational departments and personnel while working with management to achieve company goals
  • Goal oriented team player with excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
  • Basic math skills
