Job Summary

The Procurement Associate will provide entry-level administrative and operational support to the procurement and sourcing team. This role focuses on data entry, document management, basic supplier communication, and system maintenance to ensure smooth day-to-day procurement operations. The position is designed for individuals looking to build a foundation in supply chain and procurement, working under direct supervision of the Procurement Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in gathering and organizing supplier quotations and RFQ documentation under guidance
  • Perform data entry and maintain procurement records in SAP and SRM systems with accuracy
  • Support supplier communication for basic inquiries such as pricing confirmation, lead times, and document requests
  • Prepare and update basic price comparison spreadsheets and sourcing trackers
  • Assist with new supplier onboarding documentation collection and file organization
  • Maintain and file procurement contracts, pricing agreements, and related documents
  • Support inventory and purchase order tracking by updating internal logs and spreadsheets
  • Coordinate internally to collect purchase requisitions and consolidate sourcing requirements
  • Assist in preparing routine procurement reports such as vendor lists, price history summaries, and PO status updates
  • Perform general administrative support including scheduling meetings, filing, and correspondence management
  • Support ad-hoc data research tasks as directed by the Procurement Supervisor or Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, accounting or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain
  • Experience or exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred, but not required)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, formatting, sorting/filtering)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment
  • Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
