What is a procurement merchandiser?

Procurement Merchandisers are professionals responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory for retail or wholesale businesses. They analyze market trends, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure that the right products are available at the right time and price. Their role bridges the gap between suppliers and sales teams to optimize stock levels, minimize costs, and maximize profitability. Additionally, they monitor product performance and collaborate with other departments to meet customer demand and business goals.
