Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Product Processing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming product returns, inspecting returned merchandise, determining eligibility based on company return policies, and ensuring products are properly evaluated for resale or other disposition.


You will work closely with the Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure returns are processed accurately, efficiently, and in a way that provides an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to identify opportunities to improve the overall return and product processing process.


Schedule

Monday- Friday from 10AM to 6:30PM


Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming product returns and provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Inspect and evaluate returned products to determine whether they meet company return policy guidelines.
  • Determine whether returned products are suitable for resale or require another disposition.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure a smooth and efficient return process.
  • Ensure all returns are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to returned products.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and recurring issues through root cause analysis.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce unnecessary returns.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational processes.
  • Follow company policies and procedures when handling and processing returned products.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including tasks outside of the department when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using computers and common workplace software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks as required.
  • Willingness to assist with other departmental or company tasks as needed.
