KI is seeking a strategic and people-focused Director of Inside Sales to lead a high-performing team, drive commercial growth, and help shape the future of our sales organization.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer engagement, and enhance sales effectiveness while partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Experience, and Sales Leadership.

What You'll Do
Lead a High-Performing Sales Organization
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching for KI's Inside Sales organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and results.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent while building a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Mentor team members and position Inside Sales as a development pathway for future Field Sales and commercial leadership roles.

Drive Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute strategies that increase pipeline generation, customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall sales performance.
  • Partner with Field Sales leaders to strengthen collaboration, lead management, and customer coverage.
  • Translate business objectives into measurable sales goals, performance metrics, and execution plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness and drive profitable growth.

Partner Across the Business
  • Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead generation, qualification, campaign effectiveness, and customer engagement.
  • Partner with Product Management, Customer Experience, and other key functions to align customer needs with business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to commercial leadership.

Advance Sales Effectiveness
  • Champion best practices in sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of Salesforce and other sales technologies.
  • Leverage analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, resource allocation, and customer outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve workflows, team effectiveness, and customer experiences.

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience within B2B organizations.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience leading Inside Sales, Business Development, Sales Development, or related commercial teams.
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Experience leveraging CRM platforms, analytics, forecasting tools, and sales technologies to drive performance.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience within commercial furniture, manufacturing, distribution, industrial, architecture & design, construction, or related industries is preferred.
