We are seeking a Sr Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods and services. This role is responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, quality, compliance, and continuity of supply to support business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and business priorities
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for milk, dairy ingredients, packaging, and other critical materials
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and cost competitiveness
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks to inform sourcing decisions
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance standards
  • Develop and execute contingency plans to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure continuity
  • Establish and maintain procurement policies and internal control frameworks; monitor adherence
  • Ensure accurate documentation, approval workflows, and audit readiness for procurement activities
  • Partner with Finance and Internal Audit to maintain transparency and integrity in procurement transactions
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and applicable industry standards
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Operations to maintain product integrity and consistency
  • Mentor and collaborate with Supply Chain team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and R&D to support new product development and operational needs
  • Utilize procurement systems and tools to track KPIs, supplier performance, and cost trends
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on procurement performance, savings initiatives, and market outlook

Required Education/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, Business Management or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of procurement experience, preferably within the food or dairy industry. Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of dairy supply chain dynamics, food safety regulations, and sustainability practices. Solid experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate well cross functionally and work well with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and simultaneous requests from company team members
  • Excellent leadership skills, well-grounded in coaching and mentoring individual development
