Job description

Job Title: Procurement Contractor
Location: Boston, MA 02116 (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Position Summary:

We are seeking a Procurement Contractor to support the purchasing of goods and services in compliance with established procurement policies and procedures. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, timely, and transparent procurement processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare bid documentation for the procurement of materials and services.

  • Post bid opportunities on public bidding platforms.

  • Prepare and organize approval documentation for contract awards.

  • Communicate project updates and status to stakeholders, including executives and clients.

  • Maintain and manage project documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

  • Provide coverage for MBTA Mailroom operations during staff absences or vacations.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
