About the Role

We're looking for a detail-driven Procurement Specialist to support our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical teams by sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontracted services. This role keeps field operations moving—accurate purchasing, fast turnaround, and strong vendor relationships are essential.

What You'll Do
  • Purchase HVAC, plumbing, and electrical materials, tools, and equipment for service and install teams.
  • Request, compare, and negotiate vendor quotes to secure competitive pricing.
  • Track purchase orders, lead times, deliveries, and backorders.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/receiving to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain vendor records, pricing files, W-9s, insurance certificates, and approved supplier lists.
  • Support job costing by assigning materials/equipment to correct jobs and cost centers.
  • Resolve issues related to shortages, damages, returns, and warranty claims.
  • Assist project managers with submittals, equipment documentation, and scheduling needs.
What You Bring
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain; MEP or construction preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical materials and equipment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
