Associate Product Manager 2, Release Tooling

Job description

We're looking for a Associate Product Manager 2, Release Tooling to join Procore's Product Management team. In this role, you'll own the internal release platform at the heart of how Procore ships-the system that product, go-to-market, and support teams count on to plan, approve, and deliver releases to customers. Your mandate is to build the platform and tooling behind every launch: giving product managers self-serve control of the release lifecycle from pilot to general availability, connecting the go-to-market work that follows each release so nothing slips through the cracks, and giving every group the visibility to see what's shipping and how it's landing.

You'll design and build alongside Engineering and UX, and partner with product, marketing, go-to-market, and support teams to shape that tooling around how releases really happen. Bring your gift for simplifying complexity into tools people love-and lean on AI to go from idea to shipped fast. It's one of the highest-leverage roles at the company: your work touches every launch, and because you're building for colleagues, your impact lands in weeks, not quarters. Come help us build what's next at Procore.

This position reports into the Group Product Manager, Platform Experience and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Own the internal release platform-the system of record for everything Procore ships across the company.

  • Own and evolve today's release processes and workflows, building toward a purpose-built platform

  • Give product managers self-serve control over the full release lifecycle, from pilots through general availability.

  • Build the approval workflows that let product leaders control what ships, when, and how it's packaged to customers.

  • Coordinate the downstream go-to-market work-what customer success, product marketing, and enablement need for every release-so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Own the content pipeline that flows PM-authored release information to Procore's customer-facing release surface.

  • Build the analytics layer that gives the whole company visibility into adoption across all releases

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with experience building internal tools, platforms, or workflow products a strong plus.

  • Partner closely with UX and Engineering to design and ship polished products, moving fast in an agile environment without losing the craft.

  • Get close to the teams you serve-obsess over how work actually gets done, and turn messy processes into products people love to use.

  • Turn ambiguity into clarity: frame the problem, define crisp requirements, and set the metrics that tell you whether you're winning.

  • Bring a builder's curiosity about emerging tech-especially AI

Base Pay Range:

113,040.00 - 155,430.00 USD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.

Procore will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in accordance with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.

A criminal history may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship on the following job duties, potentially resulting in the withdrawal of the conditional offer of employment: 1. appropriately managing, accessing, and handling confidential information including proprietary and trade secret information, as well as accessing Procore's information technology systems and platforms; 2. interacting with and occasionally having unsupervised contact with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and/or colleagues; and 3. exercising sound judgment.
