Position Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Reports To: VP, IT

Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Administrator is responsible for automating workflows, coordinating with business partners, and designing and supporting business tools that will promote data-driven decision making. This role will work with a team to create new workflows for both front and back end operational areas.

Essential Functions

  • Works with operational teams and Project Controls Team to integrate applications. (Procore, SmartBarrel,ERP, CRM, PowerBI, and others).

  • Assists with IT Enterprise application development.

  • Works closely with Finance, FP&A, and executive leadership teams to understand drivers of financial performance and analyze opportunities for improvement.

  • Analyzes financial data and create financial models for budgeting, long-term forecasting, and decision support.

  • Researches and analyzes operational improvement, profitability analysis, budget modeling and business development initiatives. (ROI, revenue/cost analysis).

  • Prepares, analyzes, and summarizes monthly financials and key performance indicators reports for leadership and Board of Directors.

  • Supports various project teams in business improvement initiatives.

  • Completes ad hoc requests and projects as directed by management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS/IT or 3-5 years equivalent work experience in project management | project controls.

  • Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Application integrations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to build and configure customized Power BI reports from creation through presentation

  • Experience with SQL server, PowerBI, and API application integration

  • Project Management Experience a plus (PMP)

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint MS Word & Outlook

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be a self-motivated and highly analytical person able to work in a dynamic environment

  • Industrial Field experience a plus

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.

  • Possible travel requirements to visit off-site locations and remote offices.
