Position Summary:
Responsible for managing loan processing team by managing day-to-day operations and providing guidance and leadership to loan processing staff. Ensures the team meets organizational standards by monitoring quality and timeliness and implements changes to increase efficiency as necessary.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for pipeline management, including quality and compliance oversight. Ensures all processes follow organizational standards and maintains all SLAs.
  • Reviews daily reporting to monitor production and key attributes and metrics. Monitors quality and timeliness of processing workflow.
  • Conducts weekly pipeline reviews with each Processor --discussing status, outstanding items, focusing on lock expiration, purchase contingency and closing dates, and key customer contact milestones.
  • Meets with team once per week to discuss key agenda items, and leads team huddles, as needed. Holds staff accountable to service and performance SLAs.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to improve the flow, cycle time, product knowledge/condition requirements, and problem-resolution.
  • Identifies opportunities to continue to meet and exceed monthly individual goals. Implements process changes and assists in training new hires.
  • Assists Sales Team and Sales Managers on escalated files. Assists in problem-resolution and interacts with the customer as needed. Works with management and peers to provide a timely resolution to all parties.
  • Engages network of partners and peers to resolve problems (Sales, UW, Closing, Settlement, Quality, etc.)
  • Mentors Team Lead to work together to manage daily responsibilities, foster a teamwork environment, collaborate on initiatives, daily support, and partnership with Sales.
  • Supports leadership within the organization on all matters related to loan processing.
  • Maintains timely closings by setting clear expectations, efficiently directing team, and identifying areas for process improvements.
  • Keeps current on new product offerings and educates team when applicable.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of six (6 ) + years' experience in loan processing.
  • Minimum two (2) + years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of all product types required.
  • Automated Underwriting Systems experience required.
