Your responsibilities
Job Summary
Join our team as a Traveling Supervisor, where you'll play a critical role in leading and developing employees to achieve top levels of productivity, quality, and safety while meeting operational deadlines and budgets. This dynamic position requires up to 90% travel, along with schedule flexibility during weekends. Working a consistent day shift (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM), you'll coach and guide a team, recruit and hire talent, and ensure all employees receive the training and support they need to succeed. You'll foster a high-performance work environment built on clear goals, strong communication, and fair treatment, while proactively addressing performance or safety concerns to keep your team operating at its best.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Meet production and distribution targets and deadlines
  • Train, coach, and guide team members
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage discipline
  • Assign, coordinate, and review work priorities
  • Ensure staff follow safety procedures, equipment use, and company policies
  • Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Report and document all incidents promptly (within 24 hours)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Work directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery
  • Meet TKMNA employee competencies and expectations

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements :
  • Basic math and reading skills obtained by a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff, and warehouse personnel.
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand equipment and tolerances from past experience and successful past performance.
  • Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.
  • This individual must also demonstrate successful leadership and team building skills - even if from an unrelated business or non-business organization.
  • Safety Mindset

Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years previous supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Possess the knowledge of metals handled in regard to proper staging, processing, packaging, and shipping
  • First aid and CPR training
  • Exposure to labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, lean practices and sale functions.

Job Compensation
50,000 to 60,000
