Central Processing Technician โ€“ Park City Surgery Center

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Central Processing Technician to join our high-performing team at a busy Orthopedic Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms. Our center delivers outstanding patient care in partnership with The Orthopedic Partners, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
  • Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with AAMI and AORN standards
  • Ensure accurate and timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries
  • Maintain appropriate inventory and notify leadership of any supply or equipment concerns
  • Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical demands
  • Rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required
  • Previous sterile processing experience, ideally in an orthopedic or ambulatory surgery setting
  • Strong working knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Team-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
