Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the managerial aspects within the areas of Central Processing Department (CPD) and Main Sterile Area (MSA). To maintain a consistent high standard for supplies and equipment in a cost-effective manner. Assures that the standards of operation of the department comply with the standards set by regulatory agencies such as The Department of Health, Joint Commission and AAMI.
EDUCATION:
BS or minimum of 2 years post high school education with efforts to pursue a BS degree
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience. Prefer experience with healthcare related services.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Manager (CSPDM) required. National Central Service Technician Certification preferred. Certification in Materials Management through AHRMM or similar organization preferred. Demonstrated managerial skill as required by the position.
