VTS Processing Team Member

Position Reports To: Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager

Position Description:

The VTS Processing team member will efficiently process donated goods into priced and sellable merchandise.

This individual must be able to make quick decisions

Be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted

Have a pleasant demeanor with all customers

Time Requirements:

This position will require between 16-30 hours per week depending on need and availability.

Position Duties:

The VTS Processing team member will efficiently process donated goods into priced, sellable merchandise.

  • Excellent Customer Service:
    • Ensure excellent customer/donor experience for all customers
    • Effectively share Vapor mission with customers
  • Donation Sorting:
    • Inspect each item that is donated for quality
    • Adhere to the departmental sorting systems
    • Establish proper set-up of the donation/processing systems
  • Accurate Pricing:
    • Demonstrate thorough product knowledge
    • Perform quality evaluation and control
    • Utilize pricing guide effectively
  • Maintain Work Space:
    • Ensure a properly organized workspace
    • Ensure a clean workspace at the closing
    • Assist the Retail Team with the opening and closing checklists
  • Cultural Development:
    • Actively participate in Holistic Development Plan (HDP)
    • Participate in One-on-One process
    • Attend daily Huddle
    • Understand and adhere to Vapor Ministries' preferred culture
