Job description

Pathologist Assistant (NE) (Contract) – Arizona 85197
  • Position: Pathologist Assistant (NE) (13 week Contract with option to extend)

  • Location: Arizona, 85197 (MUST LIVE OUTSIDE OF ARIZONA)

  • Pay: $3300/per week

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Shifts: Staggered shifts coordinated by department

  • Weekends: Not required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pathologists with gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens

  • Prepare and document specimens for histologic processing

  • Ensure accurate labeling, recording, and handling of specimens

  • Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards

  • Collaborate with pathology and laboratory staff for efficient workflow

Requirements:
  • Certification as a Pathologist Assistant (PA ASCP preferred)

  • Relevant pathology/laboratory experience
